  DIRECTIONS from the Burlington Airport:
  Exit main (ground) door from airport, cross the Departure Lane to the island where you can catch a taxi on the left ($14 to town).

  Alternatively, exit main (ground) door from airport & turn right and walk about 20 yards to a posted local bus schedule & waiting area on the sidewalk. The local bus is: CCTA (Chittenden County Transit Authority). Bus #12 goes to the University mall, then change to bus #1 from University mall to Cherry street is North and parallel to Main Street, and about 5 blocks from Burlington Hostel. Buses arrives every half an hour most mornings & early evenings.

  Via foot, bike or car rental: exit airport onto Airport Road, turn left, go about 1/2 mile to Route 2 / Williston Road, turn right, go about 2 or 3 miles West, passing University of Vermont, heading downhill on Route 2 which is also called Main Street, and keep going down hill almost to Battery Street which is parallel to Lake Champlain. One block up from Battery Street is S.Champlain Street. Burlington Hostel is on 53 Main Street, just downhill from S.Champlain Street.
